Project updates for the week ending 28th March 2014 include:

New Build: Office Accommodation Building and Access Road Robinson Asphalts have commenced construction of a new internal road that will provide access to the new Office Accommodation building. Topsoil is being removed from the access road site and a new road is being laid out using fill cut from the Maternity site. Earthworks for the new Office Accommodation Building are largely complete and foundation work will commence shortly.
New Build: Maternity Canam are undertaking bulk excavation earthworks for the Maternity site. Material suitable for cut is being used as fill for the new access road. It is estimated that there is 7000 cubic metres of earth to be moved from this site. Where possible this will be utilised on the new Access Road. Proof drilling, new waste water and storm water drainage works are continuing.
New Build: Jim Carney Cancer Treatment Centre Aline have foundation excavation works 90% complete on the Jim Carney Cancer Treatment Centre Site. The first site concrete being poured on Friday. Precast concrete manufacture is well under way and reinforcing activities have commenced.
New Build: Wheelchair and Equipment Services Work on the main interior structure framing and roof cladding is complete. Window joinery will arrive on site on Friday.
New Build: Staff Gymnasium Floor coverings have been completed with landscaping progressing well. The installation of fixtures and fittings will be completed next week. All staff have been invited to an official blessing and opening ceremony at 8.30am on the 7th of April 2014 (refer all staff email communication from 17th of March).
